Course currently set for KCWO?

Played Rosedale today to see mostly deep pin settings, including Holes #4, #8, and #17 at their "Par 4" locations. I was told that this was the setting that will be up for the next few weeks, including the KCWO.

Confirmation?

What weird things have we done at Rosedale there in the past?  There's not a lot we can really do with that course.

there have been a couple temp holes used in the past.  i remember one a year or so ago where the tee for 6/7? was a temp tee up by the outfield fences and the hole went down the side of the ballfield to 6's long right placement.

Oh, yeah.  That's when we played Down Under for Worlds.  The only reason that was done was to allow a walking path for those going from #18 DU to #1. 

Standard course.  Nothing funky this year.

is there any discussion about moving 9 and 10 to more challenging positions?

No, we'll be sticking with this configuration.  I asked for #9 originally to be on the other side of the woods, but due to course flow and backups we opted to keep it here.  #10, while not a difficult shot, is the original pin for that hole, and provides a deuce/ace run opportunity to nearly every division.

Actually, the long #9 helped to prevent the backup on #10 and to an extent #11. With #10 short, things should move pretty smoothly. Too bad we're not using #18 long (Climo bogey hole).

Just played the course and shot a great game . Love the pin sets! I'm pretty upset I chose to play rec at the WO so I don't get to play it. Can I change at this point?!      HA!
