Dan said he's not going to run singles.  If someone would care to step up and do it, he'd be more than happy to let them though and step aside.

Can't commit to running league, too many things going on to know in advance if I can make it. Just wish the option was there to play a singles league out there once in a blue moon.

It's stayed doubles because that's what most of the regulars want to play. 

There are a lot of beginning to intermediate players that play that league, and it's more fun for them to draw someone like Jake Bowen than it is for them to get a 5 on #10 because they only throw 180 feet.

It's stayed singles doubles because that's what most of the regulars want to play. 

There are plenty of "regulars" interested in playing singles, we just need to find one that can show up to run league.  If beginners want to play with pro's then league should be ran like it was in Columbia... Pro/Am. If it's random draw doubles every time, there is a good chance they might be paired with another beginner, defeating your purpose. Aside from tomorrow, June 1st, and June 22nd, I can be available to run it if no one else is going to step up. I would even consider running doubles once a month with the Pro/Am format.

I heard there might be a few good highlights from the playoff last night.

Highlights from our card was Joe's 40 foot downhill birdie on 12, Jordan/Joe birdies on 4,8,17, and Kevin's putt from 25 ft that went over and through the tree for par on 18 long.

Jordan/Joe walked away with the easy win with a 45...then to Dan/Paul's chagrin, Bob/Eric(I can't really throw cause I hurt my back) came in with a 48 to tie us for 2nd.

We agreed on a 2-hole sudden death playoff of #1 & #2 with darkness rapidly approaching.  On #1, Eric's drive is cruising toward the pin when it clipped a tree and fell about 50' out (that Bob couldn't improve on)...Dan got up and yanked his drive right bouncing it off of the fence between the two berms...Paul trying for the big throw, pulled his OB left on the walk path...so Dan/Paul were 100-120' out above the hole with a tree restricted line with a 10-12 tail/cross wind...Paul's approach hit the pine tree and was setting boog...Dan's hyzer approach with a Drone spiked into the trees around the pin, hit a branch and went in for the bird!...when Eric's putt facegaurded the basket it looked bleak for Bob/Eric...then Bob drained the 50' for the bird!  When Bob almost hit the basket on #2 it looked like Bob/Eric were setting bird (what none of us realized is that it hit and rolled out about 30-35')...Paul's drive hit a tree about 25' from the pin and rolled backwards...then Dan putt his right next to the same tree...Bob/Eric couldn't convert the bird, and Paul stepped up and hit the bird for the win.

Brandon Elkins won the Dynamic Disc CTP on #2 Short.

With Vince's wife Bianca playing Friday night, it hit me that we could probably have a Mixed Doubles bring your own partner division...Tom & Beth Verstraete and Kevin & Laura Weiss would seem to be pretty logical possibilities.  I would form the division if 2 teams were there...I'd also like to add the requirement that each team utilizes 6 drives by each player.

Let me know what you think...

I like the idea.  It adds a little strategy to the round and makes BOTH partners have a say in the outcome.

Dan, I like the idea.  There is a good chance we will be there again on Friday.

Jordan, I think Dan was making that rule for the mixed doubles only.  Although, I wonder if you made the doubles a Pro/Am like Jake was suggesting if you would make a similar rule for the men's cards.
