Doesn't look like the tournament scores have been entered in the system yet.  Did anyone from KC bring home a 1st place trophy?  Palmer?  Crowe?

Nope, I might have made it to 18th. Shot pretty crappy on my last round.

Final 9 in Open was Nils Nordgren at 200, George Smith at 204, Chris Eads, 206, TanK, 207,  and we all finished it that order...

Nils took it down pretty easily, going wire to wire... I knew I was in the best position to entertain being in 4th. So we all just tried to put on a show for the 125+ people walking in the final 9... Rumor has it that I laid down a 420 foot roller through a tunnel to 3 feet...Crowd went crazy, Man that was fun!!!

110 on saturday, almost killed everyone..... Oh Ya. I HATE INDIAN HILLS!!!!!

Dummy me... I was "heat stroked" for not putting out on #18 after half a round... Got to my drive on #1 and realized I didn't have one Rhyno in my bag. Lost by one. Never again!

I just made it into the Top 10 in Int.

CD got 2nd in Masters.

I'm not sure about anyone else.

This ^^^
It chewed me up an spit me out last year.
What a welcome back after a six year absence to one of the courses I learned the game on!

Ditto!

And my division played it twice this year. It chewed me up and spit me out both times.....  It sucks when you play a hole pretty well and rattle the chains on a missed putt then the disc lands literally twelve feet past the basket but you are left with absolutely no putt. How fair is that? For as long as that course has been in the ground and used in tourneys it sure does have a lot of poison ivy, wild rose and unplayable cedars....  >:(    I've heard in the past that Columbia Parks simply won't let the club cut anything at all on any of the courses without specific permission. Even little stuff. Can that be true?

True it is Kmont. The city has an arborist and nothing gets cut or trimmed without his permission.
It's funny because in my experience the longer/more a course is played, the more lines are opened and beat out. However,, over the last 9 years at The Hills it seems the opposite has occurred. I went down last year expecting to see bigger gaps in the wooded holes, only to find they had gotten tighter and more challenging.

Trimming under a tree and removing dead limbs at the base when the tree is literally right next to a basket (#12 in this case) should not be an issue. Crazy....  ::)

I always complained about that hole and the cedars. Funny how they're trimmed by 16's pin, but not 8 or 12.
That's why that course has always had potential, but never lived up to it.

The CDGC just set up a new Facebook page - this might be the best place to air such greivences. I contacted the city a couple of years ago on the same issue... and nothing has changed. Maybe even post on the City's FB page linked on their website http://www.gocolumbiamo.com/.
