Frontier Park is a very cool disc golf course. I love the set up of the fairways, lined with trees. Water in play on almost every hole. I had to go diving for my Roc, which was a success (soaking wet for the next hour. When my Banchee went in the next day, I declined its invitation for a dip. Some discs are more expendable than others. Sorry Nick.) Very cool. Have not played a course where water was actually a factor, with the exception of Ted's Dread. The short holes were a bit short for my tastes, but they still require a skilled shot in order to make par. I played all the holes from the gravel tees because I could not figure out which concrete pads went to which holes. However, this shorter set up still presents a decent challenge because THE WIND IS F*%#ING RIDICULUS!!! I have been to hays before, and it is pretty windy, but I am talking winds ranging 30-45+ MPH this weekend! Even a 150 foot hole can be hard to par in wind like this. 7 foot putt? The basket said no thank you more than a couple of times. I really like the layout of this course, and I bet it is even sweeter with the concrete pads. I just wish that I would not have lost my Champion Firebird on #6 at Rosedale last Thursday, it would have helped me out tremendously (Damn the green tye-dye!!!).
