Jesse James Sunday
« on: July 08, 2012, 07:31:37 AM »
I would like to start a regular Sunday gathering at Jesse James DGC in Kearney beginning today. Meet near hole 1 at 5:00. We will try to start the round about 5:30.

It's a pretty quick play so we shouldn't be too late finishing. The track is looking great and ivy has been sprayed.

I'm with Jamie, if a tornado were to touch down near a course I was playing I would sacrifice all sorts of plastic to it, just to say that I did.

For all you Jesse James Park and Rock & Roll fans....

There's a concert at the Kearney Amphitheater Saturday the 21st featuring some friends of mine - Double Vision (Tribute to Foreigner). Unfortunately I can't make it but if you're interested I'll bet it would make for a really fun afternoon/evening to throw a couple of rounds then settle in for some great rock & roll. The show opens with an act called Women of Rock. the show is $10 in advance or $20 day of the show. Tickets in advance and info here:

If you make it up and get a chance to say hello to the band tell the rhythm guitar player, Scott Billings, hi for me.
