Fall KC Tour
« on: July 13, 2012, 07:48:15 AM »
I am working on putting together a day this fall around maybe mid-September where me and some buddies get together for a day of disc golf.  Early start around 7 am and through the late afternoon.  Looking to hit 3-4 courses.  Anyone interested?

Get the date and courses nailed down, and I'll see if it works

Sounds cool.  Note that basically every weekend day of September has a KCFDC or surrounding event on it, so you'll be going against that.  But there are plenty of people who don't play those that you'll be able to find.

Last time we did this it was a weekday which worked out really well in terms of activity on the course.

We did a small one a few months back and started at WW and then went to Rosedale Down Under then Up Top (6-18).  We were going to do Shawnee Mission Park after that but were blasted from the early heat and lack of electrolytes.

This time I think WW, Young Park, Legacy and closing it up at Swope.  That kind of brings us up North then out east down southeast and then back into the city for all you cityfolk.  It adds a little drive time too so you can HYDRATE.

We generally meet around 7:30 and go off around 8am.  Unless its just me and a couple of close buddies, 6am is the prime slot.  RD UT and DU and done by 8:47 am.  I was home before the family was up.

So if you all like early.  I can make that happen too.
