Is DGCR still pretty accurate for Cliff Drive in terms of holes and layout?

I've played Cliff once and it was probably 3+ years ago so I just want to know if it's even remotely the same course from back then.

it hasn't changed too much in the last 3 yrs other than a significant loss of trees    .  the layout on dgcr is a typical layout for cliff but some holes will have multiple pins and can play quite a bit shorter or longer.  i will be moving 12 pins at lunch break so you will get two different rounds of golf.

holes 2,4,7,8,18 can/will play longer than dgcr values one round or the other
holes 1,4,14,15,16,17 can/will play shorter than dgcr values one round or the other

That is how it is slated to be played.  For those of you wondering about the (par), in those holes the decision is made that if you were to miss the hole, you should get a par +4, and typically getting a 3 is playing it very well, playing very well is playing above average, or above par.......so with that in mind here are your par's for the day.  I will work on getting the course set up this week in this configuration for people to practice on.  Though I will probably not move #2 back to short until the week of the event since it just moved long for the first time since this event last year......

Looking forward to having people out at Cliff Drive for this fantastic event.  Looking forward to having Drew back in town as well.  This is a great event for a great cause!  Please come support it!

Yeah the reviews are pretty well right in line with where things are.  Now hopefully we will be singing a song and dance on the new holes for next year's event.

The talk of trash in the park by a few of the reviewers is tough to take, but its something that we all need to work on.  Unfortunately the P&R brought in 8 new cans for us to use that were stolen within the first 3 days of being placed there.....unbelievable.  I need to get plastic ones out there, and paint them P&R green for the future.

INjury report update-

Jack Lowe-who injured his calf on SAturday during the trouncing of the WEak Side by the EAST SIDE, is said to be moving better today.  Though some slight tenderness is still obvious, this injury is still too far out to make a determination on his game time status.  Those of you interested in deep sleeper picks in the TLC fantasy Draft for the Age-protected-division-protected-gender-protected division's should continue to monitor the information leaked out by their camp. 

We will keep you updated as the situation continues to confound those of wanting to know.

82 deg with 7 mph wind on saturday.  may change but sure looks better than last year.

when you come from places like Minnesota, you get surprised about the trash on all the courses, they also complained about Rosedale, and Water Works on the trash.....it makes sense, I was thinking it about WW on Saturday last week.  There is only one of me though, and others that help.  I know that we have made many strides to help clean up Cliff, but we have many more strides to go.

As we move into the next phase of Cliff Drive though we will be making a bigger impact, and P&R with their CPTED ideas as well as the new trails connecting the River Market, etc, homeless camps will become less of an eye sore and diminished in the area, then it will be the illegal dumping that we tackle.  Collectively we have made an impact, and a guest to our city that isn't here daily wouldn't know that.

I tore most of the cuticle off of the outside of my right index finger, and after playing Fox Hill on Sunday, we'll see about golf this weekend.  It does feel better though...

INJURY UPDATE-
Jack Lowe-Designer of the Cliff Drive Disc Golf course has indicated that the swelling is subsiding quite nicely at this point in his right calf.  Though not ruled in or out yet for the Annual Tree Love Classic, signs and indication at this point are leaning towards a favorable stance in the chances he will make at least the first round appearance.  This though couldn't be confirmed at the time of the reporting.  So as of now, listing him as day-to-day would be a subjective call, and he should remain inactive on all rosters until the confirmation comes from the camp on his medical condition.

Yes it is.  MEN MASTERS, I can't play Women's Masters and women can't play Men's masters (though sometimes they are allowed due to divisional restraints.  If I tried to play Women's Masters what would happen?

Drew is correct.  Jack, nope.  There are no Men only divisions. Look at Tour Standards PDF  CLASS and Division name; no division is described as * Men, where as WOMEN's divisions are explicitly named * Women.  Don't try to infer anything from the division code.  Women are never restricted from playing in say MPM, as long as they meet the age requirement.

One way street. Isn't that how equality is supposed to work?
