Registering a new account

Went to help my brother register a new account today and spend 20 min trying to figure this damn thing out. I entered a valid username and password and email. Put in all the questions correctly. I get an error message every time!!

Saw the message and have heard about his issue from other users but have been unable to recreate it. Maybe Utz can come  up with something. In the mean time if you want to PM me with info for his account I can create it for you and let you know when it's ready.

Make sure the answers to the questions are correct, I was getting highly frustrated until I realized I was putting in the wrong answer HAHAHA History was never my strong suit anyways! Welcome to the family!

I dont have any errors on the server that pertain to user-creation failure. What error message were you getting in particular? Possibly entering the incorrect 'Captcha' letters? I just tested another account in IE 8. Worked okay for me.

Can you tell me what Browser you are on?

I was using safari on an iPad. May have been the issue.

All it said was error occurred.
