These ratings are really high. Are these courses easy or is everyone playing really well?

I have played some of these courses...and they are not easy.  I probably played them in an easier config than they are presently in...so...

Adam lit it up today for his 6th round and shot -10, 5 shots better than anyone else in his division.  After the 5th round he was 6 shots down to the leader, and after the 6th, he's now 1 shot in the lead!

Bring it home to MO Adam!

I'm not sure what this message means, perhaps someone can explain it to me:

This is from steeler Doug...

Quote:

Nothing to brag about Loomis. She beat everyone lower rated than her, except  5th below her.

1 X Michelle Horn 9545 868 60 53 64 56 61 52 31 +18 377 $325

2 X Molly Galbraith 40799 875 56 55 60 57 70 51 35 +25 384 $240

3 X Minna Dennis 45604 851 60 56 67 59 68 56 36 +43 402 $190

4 X Babette Martin 20239 851 62 52 70 68 66 56 31 +46 405 $150

5 X Cindy McMahan 37716 853 61 56 70 64 70 57 +47 378 $120

6 X Candy Roque 37777 829 65 59 64 64 66 64 +51 382 $95

7 X Lisa Gallagher 40381 811 64 59 69 67 70 60 +58 389 $75

8 X Brandi Laudermilch 26005 835 63 62 67 70 72 56 +59 390

9 X Heidi Schaffner 29850 825 61 61 68 73 75 61 +68 399

10 X Noemi Bjerkaas 33839 814 68 63 70 70 72 65 +77 408

11 X Cheryl Zimmerman 38459 779 70 67 78 73 74 63 +94 425

12 X Patti Cooper 36425 718 72 71 78 72 79 68 +109 440

13 X Robyn Tindall 36736 679 78 73 87 86 89 77 +159 490

14 X Tina Hicks 32378 689 74 67 76 93 99 82 +160

So just saying ur not telling the complete picture here.

Now you wanna see something to brag about?

Look at Holly Finley. A 835 rated and beat 19 others higher rated than her in Adv Women. Now that is some serious world class golf.

End quote.

I'm confused. What exactly does this mean?

I guess he thought you were bragging or something?

Not very classy Doug.  Come on dude.  She just got 3rd in the world.  At least she's there competing; no comments necessary from those sitting at home.

Steeler should probably look at the numbers and people he is using as an example. Ratings are best examined for people who have been playing for a while. Holly has only been though 3 ratings iterations, and has made huge jumps each time.  This would lead me to belive her ratings doesn't accurately reflect her skill yet. So while she may have beat a lot of people with a higher rating, that does not mean she beat people with more skill.

Regardless, you two both represented KC very well. I think I speak for (almost) everyone when I say I'm proud you 2 are from our city.

I wanted to say something similar to your last post Timko, but couldn't come up with a non-dickhead way to say it.

Kudos for the articular and reasonable response to SD's dreck.

Feeler Doug- it's painfully obvious that YOU have the mind of a child and suffer from mild retardation

Quote
Doug-you are an un-educated dipsh*t.

Quote
Actually Doug, what would suck is being a half-retarded, bald ugly douchebag who cries and pouts during golf rounds like a stupid little b%tch (Named feeler doug)

Quote
Actually Doug we all learned that in the 4th grade...I know you still remember how to ACT like a 4th grader but apparently the grammar lessons eluded you

Quote
I thought we had all moved past the Doug thing.  No need to call him a Big loser.

I can think of a dickhead way to say it...oh wait...apparently I already found multiple dickhead ways to say it years ago...let's look back and reminisce...

Congrats Minna and Loomis!!  The Wide Open's 5 rounds were hard enough for me and I was able to go home to my own comfortable bed each night.  Hope you guys get some good R&R and look forward to additional highlights from your trip.

This forum could use some more Neckbeard. As usual, your review and rebuttal was just what I needed for a Sunday smile.

Congrats Mina!! Most of us (everyone except SD apparently) are very proud of your achievements and respect/envy your dedication. Keep killin' it
