Playing the 20 hole configuration
(we played #8 and #9, which will NOT be in play during the LDO) tonight in preparation for the Lion's Den...Sorry that I couldn't get out to Blue Valley, but I had to review the work being done out on the course, and see where the Marquee can go, and prep work.....if only I could do the disc golf thing all the time...alas...we had a good time though with a few of us enjoying the round. Highlights of the round include Ryan calling his overhand OB shot on #7 hole, and then looking for it everywhere but the OB road...Arturo had a close call at an ace on #5 hole......#7 hole........again on #10......again on #16......Geesh.......

Not to be outdone though Ryan splashed the chains on #11 Long Basket (from the road tee pad for the Lion's Den) at about 6-0 MPH with an overhand shot after Keizer questioned his commitment to the shot....only to not have it stay in the basket.......Keizer not to be out done though came pretty close on hole #15.....My closest shot had to be the last one where we tee from #17 pad and go to #18 long basket, I was close, but nay...I will attempt to figure out the ace fund here soon, I do promise. Keeping in mind that tonight's par was a 60 with 20 holes here are the scores:
Arturo-54-$12
Jack-60
Keizer-65
Ryan-71Ryan refused to call his 71 a score, as his last shot went into the Reservoir, so if you find a Blue Disc with RAW on it, please return, but since it went over the basket, I gave him a circle 3 and call this a completed round even in his protest.
The stage is in need of additional concrete and will be on a short notice to get it done. I mean short notice, like we get a call that the concrete will be there in 30 minutes, and you need to be there. If you can help out this week with finishing that, please reach out to Dick Parker at Disc Golf World, as I am out of town this week.
Also if you are a KC MO resident, please do take the time to vote tomorrow. For or against, we need your vote to show that you care.
(I am voting for though but then I am a person that views it that way)
