My first disc was an XD, it wasn't a putter then, it was a disc that was WAY cooler than the frisbees that were being used, but that was in like 84', were you alive then?

I was alive in 84, just don't remember it well as I was 3. 

Great history lesson Rick. It is hard for me to imagine that people were throwing those discs 500ft, that is much more impressive than the new world record with a blizzard plastic high speed driver.

One of my old favorites was the Cyclone. I still have an old Cyclone2 that I recovered from Teds Dread 5 years after I threw it in the pond. I also still have an old X-clone.

Today I saw a Coupe, a Wolf, an Ace, a Phenix and one date 1984 plus a hand made bag that was multi-colored. Because of the things he told me I won't say his name. (JB)  He's a guy I work with and still uses the disc' and bag.

Oh and I would like to play the Ace Race, you guys need some one to come in last.

Yeah @ the bag, probably a Wall City one, i remember the first time I saw one, I was like, wow that dude must get out to play a lot!

I couldn't ever find one  ...then finally decided I needed something other than a Backpack since I had given up on it, and I bought a Gateway Bag, still have it, that was like 1995.....still use it on occasion as well, especially Down Under, or when I take someone new to the sport out.....

Well count me in already, speaking to DDKC, I finished in the money at Rosedale Wednesday and won I think $5 DD Cash, how do I pick it up?

Registration is also starting to roll in for the Ace Race, we have about 20 or so far and we want to break the 160 from last year.  Get registered soon so we can order the packages and make sure we have enough for everyone.  We are working on the details now to make this a super fun and casual day at Swope.
