I've done the Pike's Peak as a spectator at the Devils Playground. We stood on the road as the cars went by, you could reach out and touch them. Pike's Peak is one of the coolest races I've been to. It's amazing they didn't die in the crash.

It's a pretty good spot to watch from. We were right in the middle of the turn with crew passes taking pictures and videos of our 8 sponsored riders. Spent a total of 19 hours on the mountain total I think. It's crazy how it can be so warm and then it will start raining then eventually start sleeting and snowing on you before it goes back to being sunny.

Cool pictures, I liked the bikes ( ex-flat-tracker myself). What I want to know is what happened to the road?

It was paved only up to midway when I was there last.

That's pretty cool man. One of our sponsored riders (#229) is a 4x French flat track champion. You can always pick out the flat track guys in the pictures by how they throw the back end around unlike a street bike rider. As for the road, this was the first year the entire track has been paved. Pretty much every record was broken this year in each class because of it. Next year should bring tons of competition and media. It will most likely be a 2-day event.

Who won the race this year? The dude from Japan won last year and set the new record.

It was actually a pretty drama filled event. Tajima came back in his all new electric car in hopes of dominating the mountain and to break his previous record but an electrical fire a mile from the start crushed those hopes. First timer Romain from France broke Tajimas record from last year which was shortly followed by Millen's .02 faster of a time to take become the newest record holder. Our 3x Modified Quad rider took his 4th title by 14 seconds or so.
