You ought to go to Swope league tonight. You'll meet all kinds of good folks and it's only $5 to play, $6 if you're not a club member. The fun starts at 6pm.

He's got a point. I would highly recommend it. I have been playing just over 2 months and I have learned a lot from the veteran players, plus swope is a pretty beginner friendly course.

Yep, it's worth a few dollars to meet other players and become familiar with the nuances of "organized" play.

bnorris...I run the Swope league, and I am usually the highest score each week.  If you come out, you can sign up for the rec or am division (that is where I play).  Come on out and have a good time.

No, just flip your disc over or use a different disc to mark your lie, no one will care and if they do, tell 'em to go kick rocks.
