Thanks to Ryan and Keizer most of all the placements were moved to the longer setting. Seems appropriate as we lose light huh?
:-)
Highlights of my night were starting off with a 6, but only having 3 holes over 3 (had a 4-5&6), then as Ryan and I approached the green on #18, a ruckus happened right in front of us about 15' away, and a baby deer that was hiding in the grassy knoll made its way down to #9 and down the rock's. Ryan was mad that he couldn't eat it. I was scared, but then the realization that this weekend had a motley bunch of Lion's that would have devoured the poor thing possibly miss the entire episode since we didn't use that hole.
Jose had to "flea" the league night, and Arturo was the only person under a 54 on the night, though Matt Crowe was able to keep it at 54 it wasn't enough. The weather was absolutely gorgeous, and next week I would like to be sending people off by 5:45 and in 3-somes where we can. Since we lost Jose, I was able to get the truck back down there and finish removing all the trash around the stage area, and clean up the trash on #1.
Oddly enough, (and would have thought it could happen here?) someone has dropped off about 150 old bricks along the fairway of #8. I hope to be able to use them as part of a walkway to the staging area, but found it odd that the dumping still continues this far into the season. Alas, it shall be items used to make the area more beautiful!
