Oh what a glorious evening, oh what glorious fun, I just hate to be waiting, to thrown my disc into the sun!
We had 8 out last night, tee'd off by 5:45 for the last card, sent out rolling cards to begin with. Moved pin #10 to the short position for the first time probably all year, as we just fixed it a few weeks back. Thanks to Matt Crowe for helping get that in the ground. The weather although a tad on the warm side was the only issue. The course is dry as a bone, but the grass hasn't been mown since June, and realistically, who can tell except in a few areas.
to the hangar on #8
(I put it on the rocks next to it, couldn't see the shot), and then to the short pin on #11. Next week will be a holiday, and with that in mind, I will be unavailable to run league. There was discussion about people meeting at Blue Valley to play league possibly starting at 5....but uncertain. If someone wants to run it, please feel free to do so, and I encourage you to post on here. Otherwise here is how we fared on that glorious evening known as the last Monday in August of 2012.
Billy Nelson-58 (his score not his age, Happy B-Day Billy!)
TJ Ring-60 (shot a 7 to finish on 18.....where we all got to watch.....YEOUCH!)
Barring any excitement that happens and prevents us from having fun, the next league on the 10th of September prior to the Tree Love Classic will be played in the configuration of the event. This means that we will be needing to be out on the course no later than 5:30, and will probably do rolling starts before that timeline. I will work on getting there by 5:14, but if there is a wreck like yesterday, I am at the whim of the traffic gods!
Till then, please take care of your place of play within the sport. I hate picking up after you, but I will do it.....so help me not be as angry! Pick up your trash!
