work work work
« on: August 22, 2012, 06:54:02 AM »
I'll be spending a few hours from 4:00 to 6:00 tonight, tomorrow night and Saturday morning on the pond placement doing a little clearing. If you'd like to help, come on out. If you have a chainsaw, weedeater, axe, or machete, it would be helpful.

Saturday morning we'll be loading out the debris with Ole Brownie.

If anyone would like to help out at Old Settlers, we could use a spotter or two, and someone to help me with setting out the water jugs, and possibly moving baskets at the lunch break.  8)

You're a machine.

Yes, a T-1000 nanomorph mimetic poly-alloy machine actually. What's really bizarre is my department manager's name, whose office is right next to my cubicle, is John Connor.  ???

Anybody coming out to do some brush destruction tonight....... Kinda lonesome out there last night.  :'( I did expand the green around the pond placement some.

Prairie Center got a dose of Swope love tonight when none other than Slim Jim Neal came out to enjoy some brush clearing.

Thanks to Jim, Brian Cornelius, and Cindy for helping improve the pond placement. And thanks to Brian for de-thorning a bunch of trees on 13 and to Jim for picking up a bunch of trash. I hope you've had a tetanus shot recently after slicing your finger on the broken glass.

Saturday morning at 8:30, weather permitting, if anybody can help load a couple loads in Brownie, and weed whack/mow the East bank of the pond, it would be great. I'd like to be done with the work before noon, have some lunch and play a round if anybody is game.

Andy, Brian T., or Mark, if you have time to move a few pins Friday, we can have the first round setup for the weekend, and for Monday's league...

tentavily here is the Old Settlers set up:

hole 1 - right
hole 2 - island from long box (short box for the second rd)
hole 3 - long (short for the second rd)
hole 4 -short right
hole 5 - long
hole 6 - long right from long box (from short box for the second rd)
hole 7 - long (short for the second rd)
hole 8 - long from short box (short from short box for second rd)
hole 9 - right
hole 10 - middle
hole 11 - long
hole 12 - long (middle for the second rd)
hole 13 - long (short for the second rd)
hole 14 - short
hole 15 - pond placement
hole 16 - right
hole 17 - temp on island (left for second rd)
hole 18 - short from long box

This will mean 6 baskets will need moved during the lunch break.
