Gone Phishin' 8/22/12

Holy Smokes! What a great show. Had a classic feel, with a funky vibe, with more than a few covers mixed in. Mad shouts to Jake Bowen, Mike Murphy, Halbaby, Brian Palmer, Tank and Jason Lyon. Quite the crew out there, had a blast!

I thought the whole first set was smokin', 2nd set not so much but it had it's moments.  Fishmans comment about Akins during SuzieG was hilarious,  maybe should have been "Todd Akins is no biologist", but still hilarious ;D.  Thanks for clearing up my "Skin it Back" confusion BP, it was great  to see everybody out having Phun!

The 2nd set Tweezer -> Piper was hot, as was the Harry Hood closer.

Here's what really got me goin: KDF, Funky b%tch, Antelope was somthin else. For the second set the Tweezer>Piper did it for me. Any set with Mikes Song and Weekapaug gets me too! damn!

Ahh yes, the Suzy was fun to end with.  Love the "Akin is a neurologist" line!

The first set combo of Gin, Stash is just as good on 2nd listen.
