Removing Stamp
« on: August 31, 2012, 05:15:40 PM »
I read somewhere about the stamp being removed from the disc.  Anyone know how to accomplish this and if so, will it screw up the disc?

It's an easy thing to do. "GOO GONE" works the best.

Buy acetone from home depot or lowes.  Comes right off.  I use an old t shirt dipped in acetone and wipes it off.  No damage to disc.   I've been selectively wiping my discs lately.  Here's an example.

Here's a whole thread about stamp removal.  The summary would be that 100% acetone works best.  Be advised that some stamps are harder than others.  Innova wipes easily, Discraft is worse, and some of the MVP stamps are almost impossible.
