I believe the gates close early there.  Don't recall when though.

Also,  Wyco will not be regular all Winter.  We're continuing Summer league 'til end of Oct.  then it'll be played by ear for doubles 'til next Spring.

I don't think the gates close at SMP until like 9 or 10, even in the winter.

Regardless, not enough demand to run any consistent over the winter, it seems. We had a hard enough time populating our in-season league...

We are running a Wednesday night League starting at 6 and a Friday night League starting at 8:30

It's always been 12:30 as long as I can remember.

not true, it moved to allow Otto time to get there from work, it used to be 12 noon.  Then I heard tales of 1:00.....It is best to let someone know you are on the way so that the other 50 people can tee off first!
 

When can we meet at the crossroads down there to start?  I know its hard to break tradition, but I know it would speed things up drastically if we could be meeting where we end up.   I get that it saves us all one walk across the field.....if we started there though, we could all start to park by the softball fields anyway, and save some time there as well.

Alas, the history of the event begs the starting of rolling I get it, I just wish we all didn't have to wait 25-40 minutes to tee from time to time!

I always enjoyed a 4 hour round....lol. Hence the reason I only played 1 DU league last year.
History/tradition aside, it would be great to eliminate the rolling start.

I dont see Yaj gettin rid of the rolling start. If you have sh1t to do you were always one of the first ones out. otherwise enjoy the time away from your significant others
