Dave Emerson passes away

For those that knew Dave, knew he was an amazingly strong person and had the best outlook on life I've ever seen....

 Dave passed away from Prostate Cancer... Keep his family in your prayers!!!!

He showed me how to be better in so many ways. I was playing down under when I heard. I played many early morning rounds with Dave and the guys down under,and this was hard to hear. He was an inspiration to all who knew him. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers.

The question now, is who is going to run the Dave Emerson Disc Golf event that he poured into in the future?

Tragic loss to our community.  Bigger loss I am sure to his family and friends, sometimes life sucks.

A Memorial Mass is planned for Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at 2:00 PM at
St. Michael the Archangel Church, 14201 Nall Avenue Leawood, KS 66223
A reception to celebrate David's life will immediately follow in Fr. Porter Hall.

Gary L has been running it for the last few years. I'm sure he will be continuing the tournament, but I could be wrong.

I meant more, maybe the name change.....just what I was thinking, similar to other events that have had to undergo a name change.  Sad still...
