Sneak Peak of the 2013 Bag Tag

For those of you who have been around the past few years, you know that I try my best to make the tags as interesting as possible. I don't want to do the same tag every year.

We have seen our fair share of Mad Cows, Floating Space courses, Actual non floating real life courses, and cool metal tags with old tournament logos... Sooo, what to do to make this year stand out?  Leather... Who doesn't like a nice piece of hide? So I really hope everyone likes what I have come up with... If not?  Well there is always 2014. I was told we will have the tags for the Club Elections and I am going to go ahead and say they will. BUT, until then here is a taste of what they look like.

Everyone wants their 15 mins of fame...

BTW, I read the entire thread you just referenced and no one told you it would never work. They told you it would be too expensive... And guess what... It is! I had to get approval to get these made because of the cost. And there is no extra stitching or anything like that. This probably will be the last year we do leather unless the cost goes down drastically, or we raise the price of tags...

Also in 2007 we were only doing 150 tags. If I didn't do at least 300 tags we would be paying about 8 bucks each for these.

leather fades very fast and the tag seems to lack color, please consider fabricating carrot tags for 2014, so in 5 years i can say i brought this up and guess what, so and so says it ain't gonna work.

I reread my response and please don't take it as me being offended. I just was stating the facts. I looked into leather because of this discussion from both you and loomis in past years. Hence my joking response of "I'm glad I thought of it".

Carrots eh? I'll have to remember that in a few years.
