They did. We needed an easy win and so they put us together. I don't think the powers could foresee your devastating injury but it played out as planned. I can't play against you all. But we can certainly figure out a way to take each other out before it's all said and done. I'm sure you and pampers aren't the only two itching to take me on though I accept any challenge. I like Match Play. I seem to do rather well at it.

OH... Sorry Pampers, I see that you commented. That was a short nap.

I haven't seen you play. You're right. So you shouldn't have anything to worry about.

Right I mean that was my thought, why waste such a talented golfer on me, they really give me more credit than is needed, but again, with an injury, I think it still took you almost a full round before I was officially out, so even with a 2nd degree mystery injury I was competing against your "healthy but can barely walk arse"......seems to me that you may want to take on the weak link to feel better about your game......but I digress....

As I recall your mystery injury didn't occur until pad 12. And with the surplus of talent on our team, it stacked up with me being available to handle you and I did my job. As I recall, they put us together as Masters players, or some such thing, as they tried to keep all of the match ups within their designated levels. Isn't that right? I think I made the team as a Masters player as did you. This year I was hoping for Fred but I guess I get Mr. pampers or perhaps you. We are again overstocked with talent and any number of match ups will do nicely. I am up for any of you.

"healthy but can barely walk arse" accepts the challenge of your weakest link. Please let me know who that is. I have a list of about 15 players, but I'm sure you have your favorites. Who do you have in mind?

The rain kept everything on hold today so instead I sat here and chatted with Mr. Pampers.

Yeah. It wasn't putting masters players against masters players, per se, but that did enter the equation. Really the heart of it is that our team had a lot of talent and so there were bound to be some unequal matchups. I think on that particular one I thought to myself that the only way Jack could beat anyone on our team was if he talked so much (and so loudly) that they either got distracted or had to withdraw. Who better to handle the 'Jack-attack' than someone who could give battle on that plane as well? Thus the Loomis-Jack matchup was born.

Man, I can't wait for this weekend!!  Gonna be so fun.  Why isn't Mike D on our team too, so we could own this pre-game smack-talking contest. :P

Never mind what Jack said. He's talking about some event that has never existed.

The Kansas City Team Challenge for 2013:

Round 1: 8 matches of alternate shot doubles at Wyco. Rolling start with 1st card at 3:00pm, Sat. June 1st
Round 2: 8 matches of best shot doubles at Cliff Drive. Rolling start with 1st card at 9:30am, Sun. June 2nd
Round 3: 16 matches of singles at Cliff Drive. Rolling start with 1st card out at TBD, Sun. June 2nd (at least an hour after last card from first round is done)

For team members: Everyone should be at each course at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled first card out.  Ryan and I will be drafting pairings based on who is present or accounted for (known on their way) at that time.

If a player is late for their start the following will occur:

Alternate shot doubles: A single player cannot alternate with themselves. Thus, the opposition will earn a concession on each hole played, from the team with a missing player, until the missing player arrives.
Best shot doubles: the player with a missing partner will play singles against best shot doubles until missing player arrives.
Singles: The opposition will earn a concession on each hole played, from the missing player, until the missing player arrives.

If the West Side wins we can celebrate by having a party at Jack's and having the east side acts as slaves for us.

meh, no.  Though with an East side victory, I would let some of the west siders buy me some drinks, and would be hospitable for certain to them all....
