This was probably in 1996 or 1997 when Chris Markey (KCFDC #249) organized an urban disc golf tournament. Each of the entrants designed a hole in public areas. A basket was transported from hole to hole, and there was money exchanged at the end. I did not play but I remember that Crazy John, LaRon Harris, and Jeff Woods did. The only hole I can remember enough to describe was in the median on Ward Parkway as it curves down the hill before it flattens as it approaches the Plaza. An interesting sidebar about Chris Markey was that he was robbed at gunpoint at Rosedale, which, to my knowledge, remains the only armed robbery on a KC disc golf course.
