Travis, I can't make it out early.  I will be there for 6:00 start.  We'll have to play a little quick to beat possible rain on its way.

5 showed. It was decided to play Wolf on a slightly breezy, overcast glowing evening.  Plan was to play 18 plus 2 safari holes.  We started on hole #3 and pushed the first 4 holes.  I called Wolf after a decent roller and fully expected to be able to convert the 3 for at least another push.  The foursome were parked in 2. I left myself with a 30ft upwind putt, which I missed to fall significantly behind the pack. For the next 10 holes there were many skins won. My only shot to get back into it was to go Blind Wolf on hole #17.  A decent drive left me in position to park my upshot.  The first two others came up well short, but their third ended up within 30 and they pushed the hole.  Five holes to go and I was out of the running.   But Joe Hesting, Adam Cosette, Travis Deatwiler and Jake Bowen all still had a chance to get to top two cash.  In the end, Joe took first with Adam a close second.

As long as the weather isn't gnarly, we'll continue to play Friday glow at Wyco.  With enough people (min 6), we'll shoot random draw dubs.

I don't really want to play on ice crusted tee pads. And I'm not going out there early to scrape off the pads. So, I'm using my driveway as a litmus test for whether or not I show up tonight. If the ice melts off it this afternoon, I'll assume tee pads will also melt. In which case, I'll be there tonight to play some Apo"caly"pse failure doubles.  Otherwise, home with the family to thank the universe that we're all still here.  :)

I'm bummed PC has holiday eve leagues are cancelled the next two weeks. It was going to be the only time my son doesn't have hoops practice for the next two months.  But I understand. Happy Holidays!

litmus test failed: too much ice on the drive, especially in partially shaded areas.  not going to go bust my butt on a tee pad this evening.  maybe next week.

Yep, I played this afternoon. The teepads were icy. I just played from beside them. It was interesting.

We played swope in the day. Scraped of pads or played on side. Not to bad. (Night time tee pads might freeze up and could be hairy.)

There may be some folks interested in playing glow at PC the next two weeks, even if TB is not there. Post on the PC thread. I might be able to pull of being there one or both mondays especially if we start right at 6pm or earlier.

I could also text a few who don't follow the disc(cussion) boards

peace,

I might be able to make it. Does anyone know if the pads are snow/ice free?

Don't know the condition of pads out there.  However, if those "mights" changed to "gonna be there", I could head out a bit early with a snow shovel to ensure the pads are clear.

Since it is only looking like 4 of us total. I think I will sit tonight out.

Mike T sent a message to me saying he's not coming. So, looks like the mights turned into nots.  Perhaps another evening. :-)
