12/6 Birthday Fiesta Down Under

Tomorrow... December 6th - noonish.... Down Under.... Important* birthdays will be celebrated with a "very competitive" round of disc golf (  ::) ).

*Important to me and the Swade Swede at least.  8)

If people smoking high quality cigars and enjoying high quality beer type beverages offends you go ahead and join us anyway, you'll get over it.  ;D

More importantly, happy SneebDays KMont and Swade! Wish I could join you on my favorite course (although I am a bit frightened of this "Nailer" guy I must admit, and am comforted to know he is 1500 miles away from me).

As for the "Nailer" story...find me sometime and I will share the humor behind (whoops) it which came to be during a round of disc golf with a couple of buddies one day.

Why does the lemonade stand quote not stress you out too?

The 12/6 Birthday Fiesta was a rousing success. Five teams of doubles on one card and a six-um of singles following us up. Jeff Hoglund and his partner won the day with a -8 while my partner, Rodney Beagle, and I shot a -4. Swade Swede and his partner, the lovely Kaitlyn, came in around -3 or -4. Kaitlyn's shot on the new #9 was the shot of the day. We all thought she had the ace but it ended up under the basket. Everyone had a great time and we followed it up with the front nine up top with most of the official USM Disc Golf Team.

Screws, nails, neither seem to hold custom metal signs to trees very well down there. >:(

"The Nailer" title is in reference to what he does when he finds a disc on a course with a wooden bulliten board.

The story is pretty funny even though no nails, discs, or tees were harmed.  In the meantime make sure you get all frothy.
