Cliff Drive Randomness
« on: December 06, 2012, 12:31:28 PM »
So I'm playing the short basket on Hole #11 last weekend and notice lying on the ground next to the basket was the lower part of a severed goat's leg.  I decided to pass on the goats leg soup.

Anybody else notice that?

That's not all that unusual to find out there.  I have seen similar several times.  Now a burnt out car?  That's pure Cliff Drive randomness.

Ah, what's puzzling you
Is the nature of my game, oh yeah

FWIW, we haven't had any car burnings at Cliff Drive (ON THE COURSE) in almost 4 years now....now the park, I am not answering those comments on advisement from our attorney.  Tom "Olathean" Johnson  :o ;D :P

Goat meat is a popular fare among the many African and Hispanic immigrants who live in the neighborhoods near Cliff Drive.

OK, since this seems to be a pretty normal Cliff Drive occurrence, I have to change the posted subject.

I thought that it was an upper midwest varietal?  I thought that it was served with rotten octopus carcas after being burned from the 2 story greystone that was used as heat for the gathering in the area in local municipalities, where tires are burnt so often they look like they are on fire, and people place them on a shirt to characterize them  as a clan of isolated individuals, not to be thrown into societal norm.  Their exclusion is known by this branding.

Hmmmm...good to know that it's only local flair then, and not what i had envisioned.....

hole 4 was a popular place to find random animal sacrifices, and i once moved a little idol from that fairway up to #8's pad cuz it was cool but that was like 5 years ago. birds, guineas, and goats someone told it was santeria but i am sure it was crackhead idolotry. be glad it wasn't a hookers leg! oh yeah, you know what they call a goat shepherd that drives his flock to olathe? ------------- a pimp.

Yes, very funny.

Noticed  someone dumped some windows and drywall along #12.  Glass was everywhere.  Illegal dumping sucks.

Is it along the road or more toward the trees? If it's near the road, P&R will get it, but if it's back along the trees, we'll probably have to clean it up ourselves. >:(
