PDGA Dues In your InBox

I just got the reminder today in my INBox, and wanted to remind everyone that is thinking about joining or renewing to do so through the club.

Rick has offered to tackle this responsibility!  Thanks Rick!!

The PDGA will be releasing its annual renewal letter soon. You don't have to wait to see it to pay your 2013 dues through the Affiliated Club Program, or in this case, the KCFDC. If you are planning to join or re-join the PDGA for 2013, please pay through the KCFDC, which keeps $5 for each member signed up.

You can pay your dues at Disc Golf World, 509 E 18th St, KCMO 64108. Am dues are $50 and pros pay $75. Checks should be written to the KCFDC. If using a bankcard, a $2 or $3 surcharge will apply. You can avoid the surcharge by paying with check or cash. Call me with any questions.

Does anyone know when we have to be PDGA current in order to get an invite to AM Worlds? Or as long as we're current by the  tournament does it not matter.

2013 Am Worlds Invite criteria says "In order to receive an invite, players must have been a current member on 12/31/2012."

If you are not a member when they are deciding the invite criteria, you may miss getting information about it.  Suffice it to say, getting paid up in Jan/Feb is your best option to ensure no hiccups happen.

If you're current this year, you'll still be current on 12/31.

^^ yep, and you will get the invite whether you are current or not but you must be current to accept.  And I believe that the link posted above sez the "deciding the invite criteria" part is already over with.

No, just type faster than I think at times.  I was referring to the notion that if you are not current in the database with your address, etc, you may miss the information when it is sent to you if you qualified.
