(1/2) > >>

CJW:
Come on out and play a round in 60 degree weather.    6pm $5 random dubs.

hberciunas:
Yum.

Hey Caleb, I have your Ace Meteor. Been carrying it for 6 months. Too many signatures on it and no phone #. Deano and Tom B. told me it is prob yours. I'll try to make it over to Wyco after our travel league. If not, I'm sure you have plenty of ace discs still.

peace,
Harold

Tom:
Perhaps a flock gathering......?

Rather than the term "Global Warming" I prefer Doc's name for how our human industrialization is changing the planet...."Oceans Rising".

otter:
Oceans' Rising = MUCH EASIER to MEASURE...weather/whether human caused or cyclical...true or not.

Convincing the major populous and their governments is the real task. The scientific community acknowledges that climate change is absolutely affected by our carbon release practices. Ice pack core samples show that over the last million years there has never been a period of time where green house gases were in higher concentrations than they are now.  Yes, we are in a cyclical warming period. We all wouldn't be here if the planet hadn't been in a moderate climate cycle over the last 10,000 years or so.  But humans are directly responsible for the accelerated rate of change in climate.  Can/will we do anything about it?  Probably not until the convergence of when world population reaches 10 billion (in 50 years or less) and climate change renders many vast areas of agriculture unproductive.  At that point, world starvation may begin to motivate the non-believers into action.  Will it be too late?  For billions of people, yes.  For the planet, probably not, it'll eventually recover no matter how we screw it up.

Anyway, I'll be there for some CO2 provided warmish weather disc golf.
