Friday Travel League 2/1/13?????

Other than one of the smithville courses these are the only ones we have not played on friday. As tournaments  start this spring  we have talked about playing the course used in the tournament for a warm up.  ideas and dumb ideas are always welcome.

How did one of my favorites, Swope, not make it yet??  Obviously I don't have the loudest voice in this gang   Topeka would be a blast if we could talk Lars into setting up the Big Shunga, maybe as we get a little closer to spring.  Today's round was a lot of FUN, some nice pre-Ice Bowl shenanigans, saw Ben Crosby out there, he's still looking for volunteers, if you've got a portable table let him know!

We did have an all in bag tag round at the end of last year on a sat or sun but we still haven't made a friday.
 If anyone knows the lsdiscs dudes maybe we could contact them and see if they could add some peoples.

You are correct, I missed out on the fun that day.  Can we change the poll or would it be easier to start a new thread?

I remember now. I wussed out cause of cold and snow that day. I think poll will be done wed and if swope wins we can discuss or take second place or something.?

Yea, I remember Swope. Was actually pretty nice except for a few tee pads. And as I remember, Eric won all the money!

If swope wins, we can take second choice. I did get three verbal votes for PC. Steve, Jteater, and Rick G. Don't know if they will vote on board or not.

I don't know the results of the poll, but I believe that PC is holding sway. It might be cold, but the snow will be over.

Be looking forward to a Febuary full day trip to Emporia for an ace race round with some locals down there. I will make a new post for this.

Also, be thinking about a full day trip to Topeka for a two rounds, one at Lake Shawnee and one at Crestview Park.

33 degrees and the yungle. PC does stay wet and keeps snow for a while, so maybe we just go take our whippins in blue springs and play PC for a RamSam warm up? Thoughts? Your call Harold. Wherever we go I will bring some wild turkey honey
