The Kan-U-Wyco is shaping up.  We have a full field, the Hoodies have been ordered and we will be adding two extra holes to make 2 rounds of 20 holes.  Hopefully the snow melts a little but either way be prepared for wet feet and bring extra clothes with you that day.

So much for visuslizing the course as it has been the last five years. Will we be throwing from tee pads for the extra placements?

What does that mean?  I am not removing any existing holes from the layout.  Wycos 18 will each be played.

Grass tee boxes will be painted and flagged for identification of the temporary tees. Because of all the snow still on the ground, but hopefully melted soon, the course is going to be a bit sloppy all over. 

Funny thing is, people are moaning about added holes. However, come lunch time next Saturday, all the moaning will be about and how tough 10 and 13 are.   "gotta an bleepin' Snowman," "stupid OB," "bleeping fence", etc etc.      Warms my devilish heart.

Thanks Jeff Oz and Joe Teater for helping clear teepads 1-8 & 18. We might get to work on 9-17 tomorrow if we can still walk.

My guess would be yes, just like taped on lights are illegal.

Hopefully the snow will melt enough we won't need ribbons.

Question: Can only PDGA Approved glow discs be used for sanctioned play in the dusk and dark?

Answer: The PDGA office has approved a blanket waiver so any PDGA Approved disc may be used with glow stick or LED light attached, preferably to the underside of transparent discs, after sunset in your time zone. In addition, LED lights taped to PDGA Approved discs can be used during daylight specifically when there is sufficient snow cover on the course and the LED might make the disc easier to locate. Non-PDGA Approved discs such as those with built-in LED lights cannot be used at any time during sanctioned play.

I don't think ribbons are legal, but LED's are legal if it gets dark, or if there is enough snow cover to help locate them.
