Its tournament week and things are going well.  If you are playing either day, you can come and check in at the DDKC store Friday or you can wait until the morning of the event.

As of now we are looking at pretty nice weather this week so hopefully most of the snow is gone, however, I am sure it will be sloppy so be prepared for wet feet.

We should have the two additional holes decided by Friday, if not before.

Scott, I am pretty sure you'll want the temp holes I posted earlier.  I checked out several options, tromping through the snow on Saturday. The alt 12 and alt 14 holes look like the best challenges while keeping a good flow around the course. I have taken Friday off, so will likely be on the course most of Friday afternoon.

By the way, there is a portable toilet by the tennis courts. You might want to consider using shelter D instead of J http://www.wycokck.org/InternetDept.aspx?id=18102&menu_id=1016&banner=15284. J leaks in the rain. D is the A frame structure just across the street from #18's tee box.  It has much more covered space and the parking lot should be able to handle all 100 players.  Access to that parking lot is just north of the shelter on the little road that runs E/W by the junior golf course.

Are any efforts being made to protect the players from wild packs of wolves?

I think that was pretty much taken care of in the 19th century.

Yeh, but due to a bunch of wack, liberal minded eco-nuts, we are getting back nice critters like mountain lions, wolves, elk, and wild turkeys. We can co-exist with mountain lions and wolves. They are cuddly. Once all the law abiding folks are forced to relinquish their forearms, we'll have a great time with the mountain lions and wolves. Oh yes.

What an intelligent, open minded statement Tom. I don't know which is more wack; your idea of a liberal, or the idea that it would take an AR15 or a similar semi-automatic assault rifle to kill a wolf or mountain lion. Those are the only "forearms" that intelligent Americans would would like to see banned.
They won't be of course, thanks to the NRA and all the pockets they stuff in Congress.
