There remains more snow on the ground than I anticipated.  I have to shovel away the white stuff to prepare for the lines.  So this is my work priority today.  #13, #10, #2 and lastly #9.  Fortunately, the line for #2 has all melted away.  I cleared #13 island and approach OB lines yesterday evening.  But the main fairway lines for #13 and all of #10 are yet to be done; an estimated 500 yards of shoveling yet to do.  As such, hole 9 will not have OB this year. It's just too much additional work for a hole I had considered dropping the OB on anyway.  I plan to shovel this morning and give the lines the midday sun to dry out some. Then put down paint and flags before sunset.

Huge thanks to everyone that has been clearing fairways of debris!  That's one less thing I have to worry about.  Much appreciated.   :)

I'm just looking at the distances on the holes then flipping back to the forecast for Saturday. Wouldnt ya believe it, the distances damn near doubled!

Should be a rough time out there tomorrow, good luck all!

That's why I asked about the placements being finalized. I did not see many "shorties" for the second round. Yes, it will be a loooooonggggg day :)
Even a bad day on the disc-golf course beats ANY day at work! -

I feel I am fully prepared for this. I just need a bunch of dx plastic and some bread sacks for my feet.

One aching back,  two sore swollen hands and 10 cold toes later.... the lines have been cleared.  Giving them time to "air" out now.  As I was driving away, past #9, I realized I probably could have OB'd it up there, bet said eff it and got some lunch.   Going to get a pair of high tech bread bags at a place with a bunch of stuffed animals. Then head back to the course to put down some paint.

The only thing missing from this tournament is a band of crazy ex's running around trying to get our attention, and a windmill.

Didncha know, there's two water parks in the Dotte now.  And we got more acreage.  ;)
My wife jokingly pulled some waders off the store wall, I took a serious look.  But opted for more versatile footwear.

Seriously, there was more standing water on the course at 6pm this evening than I have ever seen out there.  Hadn't even started raining. It's gonna be a super slop fest all day tomorrow.

definitely learned some things today. What an event. I used casual relief 5 times. I'd say that's more than I used it in the entire 2012 DG season!

I certainly wish we could of finished...I had more towels τΏτ

Great layout Tracy. Thanks for the work.

Did anyone else really dig the Snow-Fog?

See all your crazy people again tomorrow!
