My thought was to call it "Sweet Land" and then asked where you were going to play you would respond with "Sweet Land of Liberty"

That sounds like a good name for a "gentleman's club", not a disc golf course. :)

The Pinky Memorial, in honor of Pinky, who so willingly gave of herself trying to turn the corner on 14.  She will likely never be seen again after such an heroic display of aerial courage, but she will be forever missed.

Never forget!

People will get it confused with Horseshoe Canyon. Another VERY well known and established course in the Midwest. Just a thought

???  Hope there will be a place to tie my horse up
.on every hole of course..
Or do I have to throw the disc from the saddle...?
Last week while looking out over the Grand Canyon..I was so tempted to,  get a disc out of the car, and see how far I could fling it. But thought I might get in somekind of trouble.

Since this will be my new home course, I'd rather it not have some awkward moniker.

Stocksdale park DGC sounds just fine to me.  No need to complicate things.

Unless the Pinky Memorial is still on the table.  Then that, of course.  But otherwise, just Stocksdale Park DGC gets my vote.

"Sink The Pink at Stocksdale Park DGC every Friday at 7pm when it gets dark.  Bring your lights for glow and we will throw."
