Blue Springs 1 Rounder - Feb 24th, 2013

We would like to welcome you to the first 1 Rounder of the season.  This event will be an unsanctioned casual fun event at Blue Springs on Feb 24th, 2013.

This is a $10 Divisional Singles or Pick Your Partner Doubles.  You can play anytime between 8am and 3pm.  You can play as many times as you want, but only your best score counts.  There will be an optional $2 Ace Fund which rolls over if it is not hit.  The Blue Springs 1 Rounder will start with an $80 Ace Pot plus what is entered during the event.

Pre-Registration is not required for this event.  Come for a quick round or spend the day, whatever fits your schedule.

Will beginners be playing from the short pads?  How many needed for a division?  Youth division possible?

This is a super casual event.  Everyone will be playing from the same Tee's and all Divisions will be offered.  It takes three players to make a division.

I the weather holds and we get close to 50deg on Sunday, I maybe able to talk Beth into playing mix-dubs with me.  Anyone else interested in mixed-dubs?

Jame, you are correct sir!  I will have to find another partner, Beth is definitely a fair weather golfer 

As it looks now, I may not be moving from the house until then. May have to go just to get rid of the cabin fever

All 18 pads are clean, some short ones as well.  Tough getting into back part of the park  where the parking for the course is because it has not been cleared, however some folks have been traveling back and forth leaving some ruts.  I would park by hole 9 if you do not have 4 wheel drive.

If you did not know this already, those pads are really big.
