So who's behind the course at Richards-Gebauer?

Mike Hyzer:
Was out by Richards-Gebauer today and noticed some baskets by the Army Reserve Center. The baskets looked a bit primitive and some were tilted a bit, but still cool that they have disc golf out there. Anyone from the KCFDC affiliated with this course? Is the course open to the public or is it just for the military folks?

That's Calvary Bible College's course.  It is open to the public.  There's a donation box by the first tee for those so moved.  Yes, the baskets are primitive, and actually the fist hole I ever played there, my putter went through the chains and out the back without losing too much speed.  Only had that problem once, though.  Generally, they'll catch a disc.  It's just a 9 hole course, but good enough for a quick practice session since it's at least 20 minutes farther to the next closest course for me.

Mike Hyzer:
Thanks for the info. Doesn't sound like it'd be worth the drive from Independence.

Probably not, but if you're already in Belton or Grandview and just need to rattle some chains, it wouldn't be a waste of time.

I'm a Calvary Bible College grad...please play the course and enjoy!
