I've just been informed that the Iowa Western course is not in the directory yet. It has a club house with food and drink air conditioning the works! Really good golf too.

Here's a link for some info:

Actually, it is in the PDGA course directory. I was confused because of the course name and location. According to Mapquest Council Bluffs is only a ten minute drive from Omaha. I'm not familiar with the area.

Omaha and Concil Bluffs are both basically the same city.  The both set right on the border between states, so it would be like comparing the drive between KC, Mo and KC, Ks.

Do you guys have a host hotel with some good prices and close location for this event?

Any other KC golfers headed north next weekend?

I went last year and wish I could make it this year but it's not meant to be this time around.

I used Priceline and got a really good price on a hotel not far from Seymour. I think we paid $68 for two nights. If you can make it up I encourage you to do so. Mr. Bill runs a fine event.

I know Fred Smith and Dick Parker() will make the truck, right? I think there's a few coming in from St Louis and Columbia if you know anybody out there.

Well, there's some pretty cheap hotels around thats for sure. We don't have a host hotel but I'd be happy to give you a list of all the ones that make the most sense. This year you're probably gonna want to be near downtown, either that or anywhere on South 72nd Street. If you still can't find anything drop me an email: harryputter@cox.net

Check out the Baymount on 72nd. It's a few blocks from Seymour Smith and right next to the highway for Iowa Western. Here's a link on Orbitz:

That link didn't seem to work right. Try this one:

Hotels.com showed a price of $55 a night.

Cool...Tom and I have been discussing weather we should make the trip or not....

The cheaper it is the more likely we'll be up.

I have set up a players party at The Old Bar at 10th/Bancroft. It is located 2 blocks North of I-80. Take the 13th St. Exit go N and take a Right on Bancroft. It is on your left at 10th St.

There will be BBQ and a side for $5. In addition, each player can have free New Belgium draws. They have Fat Tire, Sunshine Wheat, and Skinny Dip all on tap.

In the back is a sweet sand volleyball court and frisbee/horseshoes. This will be a fun party so plan on attending. If BBQ is not your thing you can order off of their menu and their prices are very low.

The Old Bar and New Belgium. Partners in bringing you the best fete' of the year!!

See you next week!!!! Hophead

Hophead is the regional Sales/Marketing Rep for New Belgium Brewing

Thanks to everyone who came out. I think ACTA will be in A Tier status next year. The combination of the Cove gold and Seymour Smith was AWSOME!
