Post tourney round
« on: March 10, 2013, 01:03:19 PM »
Does anyone want to play a cool round in the tourney layout (OB flagged and fenced island) at Wyco this afternoon?  I'm going to be there at 3 today.   After that, I'm pulling flags and disassembling the fence.

Are you surprised you didnt get any takers? WyCo broke all of our hearts, and ran us out in the cold rain and snow.

The conditions at Rosedale were heaven compared to WyCo. :D

I gotta say it's at least slightly humorous that on the 4th of July in '90, when it was no less than 105 in the shade, the Dead opened their show with Cold Rain and Snow just a short walk down the road.

See Dan, that's what I'm talkin about dude.

I looked that show up. Fire on the Mountain > Drums > The Wheel.

Seriously? I love The Wheel, one of my favourite dead songs. Especially when its the bread in a Drums sandwich.

Harold, my post was for yesterday at 3  :) I played a round in the drizzly cold wind, then pulled flags and took down the fence on #13.  I'm probably not going to get out there again 'til this Friday (70˚) or Saturday.

Note: the OB paint will remain 'til the first mow of season, which is usually mid April.  Enjoy!

Not really, Utz.  But I thought I'd toss it out there, in case anyone was itching to take another shot.

Thanks Tracy . . . I didn't make it over to Wyco yesterday (Monday) anyway and not until about 3:30.

Thanks again for the great layout and all the hard work. You made me remember how much harder a tourney layout can be from a everyday casual round.

Officially start is April.  But I told Travis if he's itching he can start any time. But Timko hasn't provided him with the LD packet yet.

Nick (assuming you're Nick Parks  :) ), you earned a spot on West Side team. Are you in?

Nick P was the first person who stepped up when I wanted to learn to throw. Glad you are on the west side team. Congrats.
