final post on this subject from me : ssa is the measure that a 1000 rated player throws on your course, so ssa is measured like a 50 for cliff short and like a 54 for cliff long. IF the ssa is 1000, you've got a real real long course. disc golf course review uses a measure of sse<scratch scoring estimate> for cliff it's 56. compression re-rates the ssa based on field, weather, temp pins or moving pins, pollution and whether a majority of the field smoked some iron leaf. either way, i would say cliff was not short on 3-18, and i'm predicting a 56 is a 980 round using stonermath, why? cuz i am not fazed by high-rated players, rain, wind, hanging baskets or seedless green. cliff league will start at 5:30 pm on monday 3-25, expect a cowbell but don't expect me cuz work has me "on-call" that night, but i hope to be there since i'm a propagator. please if you are a rated pdga player try to make this league, it's fun and math isn't really required IF someone keeps the card the entire round <hint - tracy, your cart, your card>
