Big Props!
« on: March 20, 2013, 08:51:20 AM »
While searching the pond on 15 for a couple of his own lost discs from the RnS, Mark Albers retrieved my errant firebird shot and 50+ other discs, called all their owners, and is going out of his way to make sure everyone has their plastic. Thanks again Mark!

Kudos to Mark, good to see that some people still call people back.

Mark does a ton of things for golf in the JoCo area....he is definately bird material and has helped with pretty much every work day at PC and Birdland....his waders are in the pond several times a year also...

3 cheers for Mark!

Not sure if I had my names on them, but I lost a Star Orange Xcal and a Champ Orange Destroyer with a Mid-Am stamp on it in the lake.  I will gladly provide some pops or swap some other discs in my stockpile for their return.

Great example to set Mark!  I know that is a lot of work to retrieve all those discs to get them to their owners and I hope his efforts help inspire the recipients and others to pay it forward.  Thank you Jake for posting this thread!
Thanks,

I also had a Grape Ape Bizzard, and a Blue Valk in there from late last year... just in case anyone was asking.

There must be thousands of discs in that pond.

Oh Vinnie, you didn't....

I believe he took any unmarked discs to both DD or DGW.

I wonder if my old flat top orange champ valk turned up?  It'd be nice to have that back.  That thing has a top like an 11x FB.

I bought one like that from discgolfmuseum and it is ridiculously stable.

Fortunately I still have a few stashed in my boxes.  It would still be nice to have that one back though.  Kind of an oldie.

Palmer, I checked with DGW and Rick told me if the disc didn't have a name and number on it, Mark didn't leave it with them, so you might try to get a hold of Mark.
