Unlike schools here, the Big 10 schools excel in multiple sports. Unless we are talking about Illinois, they aren't much good at anything. They would be a good fit in the Big 12.

Though a competitive conference, the big ten hasn't produced a football champion since 1997 when Michigan had to share it with then Big 12 School Nebraska (the Ohio State BCS games were vacated after violations against the school were confirmed). In fact, since 1990 the Mighty Big Ten hasn't done much of anything while the Big 12 has produced five Football Chamionships over that same time period. AND The Big 10 has only two basketball titles since 1989, which doesn't really make it a power conference when you think of what the ACC and SEC have done in that same time span. So, though competitive, they aren't much of a conference of champions. Though I hear the marching bands are pretty good in the big ten. I hear one can even spell Ohio.
