Cooler weather in August...lovin it!  We had another beautiful night for some golf!  Thanks to everyone who came out. 

I am planning on having an "All In" Bag Tag round on 9/3/2013...thats 3 weeks from last Tuesday night.  Just giving some fair warning...just sayin'!!!

Once again, next week is the last week that I will be starting at 6pm...beginning 9/3, we will start at 5:30pm.  Also, that night, I will be having an "all-in" bag tag round.  Everyone's KCFDC bag tags will be collected at the beginning of the round and distributed by score at the end of the night...does not matter what division you play...all tags will be in play.

Swope League 8/27/2013

Swope League is experiencing a drop in numbers over the past few weeks, and I can only contribute it to the heat.  Well, Swope was hot on Tuesday night, but we had fun none-the-less.

On hole #2, Jared F. hit an ace using a sidearmed full weight destroyer.  Thats the good news...the bad/great news, he did not buy into the Ace Fund.  The Ace Fund now stands at $479.00

Next week, we will start @ 5:30, so please be signed in and ready to play by 5:20.  Also, this next week will be an all-in Bag Tag round.  I will collect all KCFDC bag tags at the beginning of the round and distribute them based on scores at the end, so please plan accordingly.  IF YOU HAVE A KCFDC BAG TAG, YOU WILL BE EXPECTED TO THROW IT IN THE POT.

With the day light getting shorter, the leagues are getting smaller...at least that is the case for Swope.  We only had 6 out tonight.

Next week, I am going to have a rolling start.  Check in with me, get your card together and go to a hole to start.  I will be there before 5pm, and will send the last cards out at 5:30.  Since the day light is getting shorter by the day, I would like to send no more than 4 per card (3 would be better).  We will play with Mandos, but no O.B. (except roads) and from the short pads.  I hope to get some of the pins placed shorter so that the speed of play will be faster.

Swope League 9/17/2013

Gully Golf League last Tuesday night was an Innova team sweep for all cash.  Congrats to Tank and CD for the first and second place win.  We had 7 out for league on a beautiful tuesday night.

Ace fund continues to climb...it is now sitting at $502.00

This Tuesday night is the last Swope summer league of the season.  I will do the same thing I did last week with the rolling starts...come sign up, get your card together, and T-off.  The final card will go out at 5:30.  With the sunset at before 7:30, we will once again play all short pads, which will continue to give some possible ace runs, in order to potentially pay out some of the Ace Fund...if no one hits at ace this week, it will start off the same for next summer.
