04-01-13 LAKESIDE HILLS MINI
« on: April 04, 2013, 10:31:57 AM »
The first KCFDC organized event at Lakeside Hills happened on this date. Sunny, with temps in the mid 40's, and northeast winds at 10mph is how it was.

There were eighteen players out. No ACE was struck, so with all in the ACE fund is at $18.  :o

OPEN (15)

Kevin Zane              54 for $16 (Kevin joined the KCFDC before the round)
Shannon Carson     55 for $10
Jesse Au                  56 for $8
Dan Quinn               57 for $6
Mark Albers             58 for $2.50
Steve Thimmesch    58 for $2.50
Deano                     59
Anthony Pfeifer       59
Cooper Arnold         60
Bryan Guthrie          61
Tom Butler               62 (Tom renewed his membership before the round, although in Tom's opinion, league directors than run a league for at least 90% of the previous Summer should get paid dues as an incentive and reward ;D)
Brian Taylor             62
Leevarn Sarvis        62
Brian Corneilius       63
Matt Jenkins            67 (Matt renewed his membership before the round)

AMS (3)

Brett Maasen         62 for $7 KC KASH
Perry Martin           68 for $4 KC KASH (left b4 payout)
Brian Hilbers          72

It was announced that league will be at Lakeside Hills for the month of April. League will be at Prairie Center for the month of May. We will alternate between the two courses on a monthly basis.  8)

why the separate Ace Fund?  It is the same "league series" essentially?  I don't keep a separate Blue Valley Ace Fund....

That's a good question. I asked how to handle it a few weeks ago and haven't got an answer, but the more I thought about it, the more I think it should be separated. The chances for an ACE at Birdland are far less than at PC. I just think keeping them separate is the most logical, fair, and pure. Also, if we elect to run two leagues per week in Olathe, having the two funds established will be simpler.

I've been called a dictator before, so just please don't claim we have weapons of mass destruction and invade Olathe, and find me hiding under a dog house and hang me.  ???
