I might be able to help out. I have not been able to locate the first tee, where exactly is it? A google map image would help, as I am extremely directionally challenged.  :-\

I would think a map won't help someone who is extremely directionally challenged. Maybe not even a compass!!

Hole 1 starts near shelter 10, however since hole 1 has not been completely cut yet, you wont see it unless you know where your looking.  Come on out on Monday and meet at shelter 10 and I will give you the tour and then you will know where it starts :)

Just make sure it's not an easy course. Blah to beginner courses.

Walked it with Scott yesterday.  It will be an awesome course.  Mostly cut out of a dense wooded area.  Pretty technical in many places.  Not a lot of wide open spaces.  Still a little raw at this point but I'm excited.

Sweet! I don't know why I haven't heard about this course. This is great! I live just down the street. Let me know about work days...so we can put in longer pin placements!  ;D

longer doesn't equal a non-beginner course son.

Also putting in courses that only cater to "longer throwers" will inevitably lead to less people playing the sport.  There needs to be a balance and an ability to attract that "new player".  We can't all be seasoned professionals with a solid  3 professional events under our belts after a 5 year touring career with 4 wins now can we? ;D

Heritage Park will have a a variety when it comes to length but virtually every hole has a recreational placement and a more difficult placement

I also had the pleasure of walking the course with Scott on Monday. It looks to be very promising! It is wooded for the most part, with a lot of technical holes/shots, but also a few holes that have some open space (good balance). Looks to be a challenging course without having stupid length. I feel like once completed, the course will reward good shots, while mildly punishing bad shots.

Scott, let me know when you will be working and I will try to make it down the road to help.
