The 4th annual Redbud Open - Saturday April 23rd and Sunday April 24th.

Two rounds Saturday - One round Sunday.

Registration starts Friday evening 5:00pm to 8:00pm and Saturday morning 8:30am to 9:30am

Tee off at 10:00am both days.

$40 for Pro Divisions
$30 for Am Divisions

$5 To camp just one or both days for one price.

Camping, bonfire and good times Saturday night

Clarification on this year's Redbud Open. Yes, it's two days. Two rounds of 18 on Saturday with the course set short to medium. One round on Sunday with the course set long. The two day event is for glass. Trophies will be available for Novice, Am (Intermediate), Advance Am, Am Master, Pro Master and Open.

If you are only available for one day please come out anyway. Arrangements will be made for those that can only play one day, prizes, cash payout etc  But be aware that you will not be playing for glass if there for only one day.

Saturday night will be a party with music a fire and glow golf.

Wow, this really sounds like a killer tournament.  Last man standing wins!  Wood'z is da man!  I encourage everyone to thank him and Ted so that we can enjoy this jewel of a course for years to come.

Glass trophies. Plates of varying sizes or other glassware laser etched with the tourney, division and place. So, come out to Ted's and take home some "glass".

id love to and wish i oculd but im not moving out there till May 25th, so after that you can bet ill be playing in as many tournies as i can in and around the area.

trust me dude i know all about it.. do you think its an accadent that im moving there a couple weeks before the tourny starts?  LOL, i planned it like that so i can play Swope and Rosedale for a couple weeks.

Rosedale is easy......it's Swope you want to know. those cross winds can really be tricky.

i use to live in KC a few years ago, Rosedale was my home course, its acaully the first course i ever played... i wouldnt say its an easy course though, not when all the baskets are set in the long pin placements, i think swope can be easier as long as all that OB rope is gone.

I suppose that Rosedale can be tough long, but I'm a lefty. so you do the math. John Chapman is is running the AM's at the WO this year. So who know's what he has in mind as far as the ropes go. But I imagine that there will be some on the fairways to keep things flowing smoothly.

do you know the layout for Rosedale at all, will they switch it up after a round?  id like to see it go from one extreme to the next, i think all longs for one round would be cool and then all short the next round.  let the long arms get in a good round, then let the putters get a good round.  cuz we all know if you can drive 500 feet you cant put worth a damn     and if you cant drive 500 feet you know your blinging putts all day

Around 40. This is the fourth year and there has never been less than 30 with a high of 45.

what would the entry fee be to just play saturday and how will pay out work?  I would love to make a weekend out of this but I do not think I can convince the better half...
