Think we've only played Lawrence Centennial once.
Clinton Lake is defunct.  Some of the baskets were stolen so the park pulled the  rest (from what I heard).
I personally like Atchison's 9 & 18, but it is a bit of a drive.

In-laws are going to be here sometime this weekend so I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it or not.

No to Ottawa. The pads alone will break your ankles. Shunga is a temp course you can only play during tournaments. There is also a course at a Junior High just south of Olathe. It's not bad if you tee off 100 behind the tee pad. It's also a great Safari course.

And don't forget Parkville!!!

I don't mind Ottawa's triangular concrete markers.   Tee off behind, aside of, or on them.  I used to like that course a lot, primarily because for me it's only a 20 minute drive and there is never anybody on the course.  I find it a bit boring now.

Loomis,
I thought Big Shunga was the temp course but regular setting are always in play? I have played there on weekends before when there wasn't a tournament going on, maybe wrong just going on what I have played.

We played jesse james. We played down under last year before that up/down rosey tournament. Foxhill is weak and has no tee pads. I vote for WW, blue valley, or smithville in no particular order

Looks like Water works is the call! Let's start early to get the round in and beat some traffic home (and wife/significant other time Friday night). Also Suede said he could make it before work (we'll see).

10am tee time.                          WATER WORKS

Foxhill is weak? Heh, what's the best score you've posted out there? John doesn't build weak courses, it's not in his nature...

Fox Hill has some weak holes and the pads are not the best.  Friday traveling league would not be allowed to play out there during the day due to school hours.  Getting 25k in donations to put in a course is not the easiest thing.  Maybe one day we will have some better tee pads. There will be an asphalt running trail through those woods so those pads could be updated in near future.   Do not put anything past Bill Lentz, the pe teacher at Fox Hill.  He is the man.  It is guys like him that buy into  building beginner courses that will make this sport grow.    Bill does not even play disc golf.  How crazy is that?  Here is a guy that is killing himself out there to give the community something fun to play.  He is not a member of the club, not a member of the PDGA, just a regular guy that wants to give kids an alternative fitness activity.  Hundreds of back breaking hours to make the community better.  That is an example of  a human with such a  powerful, selfless, giving spirit.  Bill and Aric Anderson are working super hard at getting a course at Staley HS.  This is how the sport and the spirit of the sport grows... by building beginner weak courses.

Don't get your feelings hurt guys. John, props to you for getting courses in the ground. The no pads comment referred to amount of rain we've had lately beats down tee area.  Any course I can't have a beer on I consider weak. Courses that have schools next to them that limit hours of play I consider weak(I work nights, so days are when I throw). And single chain baskets are weak.  As for what I shot when I played? Who cares?
