5/9 league
« on: May 09, 2013, 09:09:41 AM »
Depending what weather forecast, (prediction, guestimation, or coin toss) you watch the rain might hold off. So league is on at this point. It's no East vs West qualifier at WW but not all of us can be good enough to represent our side of the city.  One day baby, one day!
Calm down, this is just for fun.

Well for all those that were coming out to league tonight, rain just moved in and it looks like once again league is cancelled.
Calm down, this is just for fun.

The disc golf gods must have spared WW and taken their vengeance out on P Hill. It poured from 5 to 630 ish.

it really didn't rain at WW?  I mean we got DUMPED on at my place (Cliff Drive, you know like 3 miles from WW) between 6-7, then turned out nice, but it rained HARD, so it stayed south of the Mighty Mo huh, cuz it came down hard..

While we were finishing up the sign-ins, we got a pretty good sprinkle that I thought was going to turn into a down pour. It got dark, and somewhat windy, then by 6:00 it all just quit, sun came out and the wind steadily decreased til dark. truly a blessing it seems!

yeah that happens a lot in KC, the River really does divide it.  Back in what 2002, when the tornadoes hit, you could see them all around WW, and they never hit us while we watched them.  Amazing what a few miles difference makes in weather.  Been that way since I moved to KC.
