What the heck is that? Who jammed together the mishmash of rock and broken concrete? Sorry for bruised feelings, but really?

Are you talking about the retaining wall?  Did you stop and fix it?

There will be a work day on June 9th.  You show up and I will help you get it fixed.

Five days before the wide open? It needs to be started before then so it can be finished before the last second.
Every day is a workday at the gully! Come on out tomorrow and you can help me with the fix!

Probably the same dude who thought broken bathroom tiles would look nice next to the clubhouse.

Five days to work on a tee pad that probably isn't going to be used, you don't think that's enough time?

tee pads that will not be used during the Wide open at Swope Park include the following:
#5-Both
#10
#11
#15
#16

So that is correct

the only point was it looks like $h!zzˇzzle. for a showcase event it seems like the course oughta look its best.
and wasn't there a buzz about getting permission through proper channels?

I am going out there today. Maybe this can be addressed at next week's workday, but yes Mark is correct it should look good and it seems there was no communication about the work. Personal leadership is always to be commended, and good communication is right there too.

I made it out to the beautiful Swope gully course this afternoon and while it was wet in the low lands, it was so green and vibrant I didn't mind a bit.

The small rock retaining wall on 11 is a double sided coin. It doesn't look great as of now, but someone did take to initiative and volunteered to do it. We can make it better in the next week with some help and communication.

Yeah, what an idiot.
What a concept. Somebody trying to make the course better so the fine disc golf population wont have to get their shoes muddy. Probably the same fool that empties the trash, picks up smokers cigbutts, glass and countless pieces of debris.
I hope he is not the nut that tries to help novices and families by supplying maps and quick instructional, that would be a waste of time, trying to help others enjoy the game without
intimidation from the course layout and  seasoned players. What a goof. if i ever catch the 'dude'
I will give him (or her) a good spanking.
