Wait are we really playing #12 at WW on the Peninsula? Throwing over #18s green essentially?

That's really dumb and unsafe.

It's never on the peninsula. I like the call. Move 18 if anything.

Any word on if my registration went through? Signed up today at the shop, just want to know if there was still a spot for me.

At the Monkey Island Open in Emporia they change holes 5-7 by skipping 5 and adding a temp hole that shoots across 7 to the ampitheater.  At first I thought it was kind of crazy to have two fairways that shot perpendicular to each other, but it worked out just fine and was actually pretty fun.

If people are aware of the play on both 12 and 18, it could be really fun.

I wish we had a betting line on this weekend's tourney, looks to be a great field of competitors. Anyone have any predictions?

As much as I would like to see an American or east sider win this, I am expecting the redcoat, Slamming Sammy Webber, to edge out Matt Prodigy Perry, Jordan, and Walker for the victory. My Dark horse to make it in the top 5 is unrated Brandon Elkins.

In intermediate, Jordan's bigger brother will hold off the White Tornado and Skinny Brian Palmer for the win.

For those that want live scoring, I will be tweeting live scoring on the intermediate women's top card @ComoVince.  8)

Can't wait for this weekend, it'll be a great tourney!  For those who don't know, he's not my "big" brother due to age...he's just big. ha

Someone must have a direct line to the big guy upstairs, as we are going to have another awesome weekend!  <90 in August...in the midwest???  Two weekends in a row???  Say what???  Looks like a 40% chance for rain both days, but as long as its not an all day thing, a brief shower might help keep things cool.
