My dad found this cleaning out his old desk. Said he played there in 1986.

Dan Cashen?

I played Swope once in '83.  Thought throwing a lid into those dang baskets was crazy...and stuck with object courses.  Fast forward to '97 ~> played Centennial DGC in Lawrence.  Have been hooked ever since.

ace mason!? rick rothstein?! you some funny motherputters.
just reread otter's educated guess, your chicken dinner is waiting at stroud's.
loco juan did cash and then selflessly donated his winnings back to thomas s. (j)ingle announcing it was to help build new bathrooms. ace yells out: "what are you gonna call em crazy johns?".

Does anyone have photos of the course? Where was it located, on the same grounds?

yep, prior to hole #13 across the road, had a much different "pro shop" little wooden thing in there, with a space heater the time I hit it up in the late 80's...like '87 I think was the first time I played it...thought that it was cool, looked like golf, only they were charging like $8/round or something.  I had already been playing for a few years, and this was the first pay to play. As a teenager with limited income stream, this sucked.  SO we only played 9 holes that day didn't have funds to play all 18....
