1)Your mother doesn't play disc golf so pick up your trash!

2)Mike Keizer knows all the badass places to eat.

3)John Theiss has plastic and chains running through his blood.

I'm pretty sure that Jake isn't running it tonight.  If people that showed up actually wanted to play KCFDC league singles, that would be fine, but there is a large group out there that plays dubs on Fridays and they don't really seem to want to do the club thing.

For what it's worth, as usual, I will be soliciting interest in the club singles league and if I can get enough people interested, we'll see what happens.

I'll say this, I am not against the doubles crew being a club activity if that is what the group wants to do. I said before in previous threads that doubles is what a lot of Legacy patrons would like to do & I think that would get attendance up. However since I do not run the club league I have little control over that & since there is a good group who want to do doubles that is exactly what we are going to do. Last week we had 26 out & week before 25. I would love to promote it on here & make it 50 but I didn't think it would be cooth to take away from any promoting the Club wants to do for its singles league.

Kelly, I don't mind what you're doing (though that doesn't mean that others don't).

I'm all for doing whatever the people want.  However, it's kind of hard to sell the people out there on giving $1 back to the club when you're taking that same $1 and compiling it for a beer bash (again, not that there's anything wrong with that), know what I mean?  A good portion of the guys playing don't do club stuff and that's fine, but we have the opportunity to spread the word to a lot of people.  So, while I applaud you for getting a good number of folks out there, the question is how we can get these guys interesting in participating in club activities?

I'm not trying to rock the boat or hack anyone off; I'm just happy to be able to play out there on Friday after a week in the office.  It doesn't matter to me if Jake or I run it or if someone else runs it in a different format.  Maybe we should talk to the exec board and see if we can come up with a solution that everyone is happy with.

Until then, I'll be there playing dubs probably.

Had a blast. Thanks for putting it on! For what its worth. I used to run league in Blue Springs and no matter what you do someone will complain. Do what is in your comfort zone as far as how you run your show. Lots of folks like to complain but until they step up and run a league then they are just talking heads. Keep up the good work man!
